Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy and supportive accounts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning, coding, and processing of purchase invoices, including multi-currency transactions
  • Ensuring invoices are sent out for approval and resolving any discrepancies
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice queries and negotiate payment terms
  • Organizing credit notes and preparing twice-monthly payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with various other accounts duties as required

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in purchase ledger and accounts payable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Adaptable attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
