About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a meticulous and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for accurately processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and reconcile statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and provide administrative assistance as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
