Birmingham, United Kingdom Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Are you looking for a new role which is a little bit different: for a challenge and opportunity to grow? Are you interested in influencing the way systems work with young people and passionate about developing your leadership as a psychologist? Then this job is for you.

For newly qualified staff we offer support from Band 7 through the preceptorship process to Band 8A. We offer excellent development opportunities, including further training, support and clinical supervision. Those who are already matched in skill would move automatically to Band 8A and we will provide additional support to enable career progression and professional development.

We are a psychology led, multi-disciplinary team that supports young people aged 13 -18 as part of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC). The team includes psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, administrators and is expanding.

We work with young people at the edge of Tier 4, or those stepping down from hospital to support stability within the community. We work systemically with residential homes, social care, families, CAMHS and schools.

The team has a range of expertise in trauma, therapeutic parenting, systemic and group work, DBT and more.
