About the team:
In this **brand new** role you will have the opportunity to support the Asset Management team in managing risk across the InterBay Asset Finance (IBAF) portfolio throughout the full loan cycle. The Asset Management Coordinator will instruct IBAF’s panel of third party inspection agents and auditors to ensure reports are completed in line with IBAF policies; liaise with IBAF’s selling agents to dispose of IBAF’s end of lease assets; and issue valuation requirements to IBAF’s external valuers.

This is a hybrid role which will require you to regularly attend the office in Fleet, Hampshire.

What you will be doing:
In this varied and interesting role, you will have the opportunity to work across the whole business whilst working within a highly supportive and valued team.

Your responsibilities will include
- Working closely with the Asset Manager and other teams to assist the Credit decision process and portfolio management queries.
- Issuing sub hire audit and inspection requests to IBAF’s third party audit and inspection agents.
- Checking asset inspection reports and escalating any discrepancies to the Asset Manager.
- Completing remote video asset inspections and recording them on IBAF’s systems.
- Maintaining IBAF’s progress tracker spreadsheet to ensure timely completion of audits and inspections.
- Liaising with auction houses and remarketing agents regarding reserve and selling prices, and bids for IBAF’s assets.
- Producing valuations, including use of CAP for cars and light commercial vehicles.

In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £35,000 - £42,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%

Could you be the one?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

- A background in Asset Management, Sales Support, Collections or similar function within the Asset Finance industry would be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of a variety of hard asset types which IBAF fund including vehicles, plant and machinery.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills are essential.
- Verbal and written communication skills are essential
