Garage Workshop Office Reception and Administrator

A well established, busy, family owned garage workshop, needs a 'hands-on', customer focused workshop receptionist and administrator who will take responsibility for the smooth running of the business to join our team on a permanent, basis:
**Job Requirements include**:
- Raising job sheets and booking jobs into the electronic workshop dairy
- updating workshop job sheets, enter parts used and Labours hours
- Researching, preparing and generating workshop repair quotations
- Order parts in preparation for workshop repair jobs
- Raise purchase orders, enter invoices into the system and book stock in
- Arrange Transport collection and deliveries
- Administration requirements for MOT’s, oil and waste disposal
- Communicate with customers, take orders, provide quotations, raise invoices
- Take customer payments and reconcile banking records.
- All other administration necessary for the successful operation of the business eg;
- Maintaining personnel records, organising training etc
- Organising maintenance of equipment
**Skills and Experience required**:
A full driving licence plus an interest in cars and vehicle maintenance
Good attention to detail and communication skills, flexible, organised,
conscientious, able to prioritise work and able to work under pressure
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Edinburgh, EH11 4DN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
