Purchasing Specialist - Supply Chain - FMCG.

**Location**:Chertsey, Surrey.

**Salary**: £33k - £38k + bonus + benefits.

Monday - Friday.

**Hybrid**:

- WFM / office 1-2 days.

**Responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist (Supply Chain) role**:

- Purchasing is the main linchpin to the smooth and successful running of the business.
- Ordering the right volume to arrive at the correct time is crucial to help continued growth.
- Understand product trends, ensure the right forecast is considered before placing orders.
- Placing of purchase orders within agreed timescales.
- Organising collections with logístical partners.
- Accountable for forecasting of base, promotional and product launch volumes.
- Shelf life and end of life management to meet agreed KPIs.
- Key coordination with sales team, suppliers and logistics partners.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of business processes.
- Retailer engagement.

**Skills & Experience required for the Purchasing Specialist - Supply Chain**:

- Experience with purchasing or demand planning essential.
- Competent in the use of MS Excel (formulas, pivots, etc.).
- Highly organised and ability to problem solve with logical thinking.
- Effective communicator with an ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadline and under pressure.
- Have strong numerical skills, ability to work accurately with data.

**Package / Benefits**:

- Salary depending on experience.
