Reach Learning Disability Care CIC (Reach Care) is a Nottinghamshire based domiciliary care agency, registered with the **Care Quality Commission and have recently been rated as Outstanding**,and providing high-quality person-centred, one-to-one support to people with learning disability throughout the county and beyond.

To encourage them to try new experiences in the community, make new friends and amaze themselves and their families in a safe, caring, well-managed and happy environment? Then this role could be for you.

At Reach Learning Disability Care we provide Outstanding one-to-one support for individuals with a learning disability within Newark, Southwell and the surrounding villages. We offer a round-the-clock service right through to just a few hours a week.

We are looking to recruit a number of support workers to work with adults with learning disabilities who have a diverse range of personal care and support needs.

We recruit on a values-based approach matching our staff with our service users using a wide range of criteria - not only skills and experience, but hobbies and interests too.

Here are just some of the activities you could support our service users with:

- A trip to the cinema
- Managing medication
- Cooking
- Personal Care
- Finances
- Shopping
- Social events such as meeting friends for lunch
- Walks in the park
- Meal planning
- Housework
- Learning new skills
- Building relationships

You will need to be willing to work flexibly to accommodate the service user’s needs as and when required. Shifts may involve early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and sometimes sleep shifts.
