Job Title: SEND Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Worker to join our team at Empowering Learning Limited. As a SEND Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
  • Support children during lessons and school activities
  • Support staff and children during lunch and break times
  • Manage pupils' personalised learning based on their individual needs
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group activities
  • Collect evidence of children's work to support their assessment
  • Provide physical management and care of pupils
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Desire to work with, inspire, and support children
  • Interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
