We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Worker to join our team at Empowering Learning Limited. As a SEND Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
- Support children during lessons and school activities
- Support staff and children during lunch and break times
- Manage pupils' personalised learning based on their individual needs
- Deliver 1:1 or small group activities
- Collect evidence of children's work to support their assessment
- Provide physical management and care of pupils
- Experience working with young people
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Desire to work with, inspire, and support children
- Interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
- Dedicated consultant allocated to support you with any questions or concerns
- CV writing support
- £150 Referral scheme for Teachers and Teaching Assistants
- Access to training workshops and CPD courses to provide professional development
