Our BMW Edinburgh Team are in unique position as we look to expand and grow our Parts Team. We’re looking for a Goods In Clerk who is passionate about customer service and wants to work with one of the world's most prestigious and technologically advanced car manufacturers and forward-thinking automotive retailersBMW & Peter Vardy.

As a Goods In Clerk, you will play a vital role in the daily running of the parts department, communicating effectively between customers and staff to ensure the correct part is supplied in a timely manner. You will be a team player with a commitment to learning and development within the parts department. You must also have the ability to work well on your own and under pressure to deliver an excellent customer experience. Experience of working in a warehouse/Trade’s environment or retail experience dealing with customers internal/external is highly desirable.

**What you will do**:

- General Housekeeping
- Utilising Space & Correct Storage of Parts
- Parts Picking for External Customers
- Returning Goods to Suppliers
- Manufacturer returns
- Unloading deliveries
- Recording all receipts
- Checking deliveries are correct
- Report any discrepancies with deliveries
- Booking stock into the computer system
- Processing stock going out
- Maintaining stock accuracy
- Stock Checking
- Any other required duties within reason towards job role and department.

**What you will need**:

- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of Health & safety
- Good level of numeracy and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
- Good level of administration and IT skills
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
