**About The Role**

Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service are seeking a committed, flexible, and enthusiastic individual with experience in delivering safety education programmes to young people aged 12 and over.

In this role, you will deliver a wide range of education programmes both at SkillZONE and within the Gloucestershire community. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering both new and existing educational programmes for young people aged 12 and above. Your role will include sharing experiences and learnings to ensure all educational initiatives are fully inclusive. Key programmes include our "Fired Up" Youth Programme, Knife or Your Life education programme, outreach school workshops and assemblies focusing on Choices and Consequences, targeted educational interventions in priority areas and one-on-one sessions with young people exhibiting risky behaviors such as fire setting.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of community safety, fire safety, and injury prevention as it relates to children. You should be a confident and friendly communicator with strong business skills being able to relate to young people and their challenges. The role involves working with groups and one-on-one with young people, so a commitment to safeguarding is essential.
