About the Role

Eclipse Properties Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Gloucester. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young people in our care, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 support to young people in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Engage with young people in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with other professionals, including social workers and healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NVQ (QCF) Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working with vulnerable young people.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A current DBS check.
  • Full clean, UK driving licence.
  • IT literacy - MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and report writing skills.
  • A flexible, empathic, and supportive attitude.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Training in safeguarding, child protection, and risk assessments beneficial.
