Vertical Farming - the concept of growing crops and produce in controlled indoor environments - is seeing massive growth and funding currently, and has huge potential for positive impact on our food systems and environment. Innovation Agritech Group (IAG) own and operate one of the UK’s largest truly vertical farms. Our aim is to heal a fractured supply chain by offering bespoke solutions to third parties, placing healthy nutritious food closer to the consumer.

**The Role**

The role of Commercial Assistant is required to support the Operations and Design Development teams, reporting to the Director of Operations, to provide support for operations administration, procurement processes, and sales activity. As a growing company we must have clarity and transparency in our daily operations with the ability to measure, report, and to provide corrective action. The role of Commercial Assistant will be key to achieving these goals. The role will be based at our Bracknell facility with flexibility for hybrid working.

As a high-level overview, key responsibilities of the role include:

- Project and operational administration
- Support for completing and auditing Red Tractor accreditation
- Placing of orders and process control
- Commercial project support
- Other administrative tasks associated with the company’s commercial & business development activities

**Duties & Requirements**

We are seeking somebody with experience in, and who is comfortable with, the following:

- Good working knowledge of MS Suite
- Attending meetings, taking notes and preparing and sharing agendas.
- Calendar management
- Obtaining quotes
- Liaising with 3rd parties
- Document management and traceability
- Maintaining records
- Experience of ERP and CRM systems
- Scheduling meetings
- Commercial exposure
- Knowledge of the produce of industry would be a benefit, but not essential.
- Easily commutable to site
- Important; savvy and cheerful

**Benefits**:
