Complaints Support Officer

**About the role**
The Council’s Monitoring Officer is the corporate complaints officer. As part of a small team, you will provide support to the Monitoring Officer and the Housing service on all matters relating to housing complaints made against the Council. This will entail liaising with members of the public and the Local Government Ombudsman. You will also support the Monitoring Officer in achieving the priorities and outcomes of the Council. Day to day you will be responsible for logging and progressing housing and other complaints and requests for information.
**About you**
It is essential that you have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. You must also have the ability to work without supervision and use your own initiative, as you will be dealing with complaints and requests for information from members of the public on a daily basis.
