**As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for the ownership and coordination of the local HR and site administrative function in all HR areas. Your main objective will be to ensure a consistent, functional approach, accuracy, and reliability of information.**
Additionally, you will provide support to the Managerial population at all levels, including supporting low-level employee relations (ER) cases, training coordination, and engagement activities.
**Location**: Doncaster (with occasional travel)
**Type**: Full Time, Permanent
**Days and Hours of Work**: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30am-5pm
**Salary**: £23,000-£25,000 per annum
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Manage the Capita Time & Attendance clocking system, including daily clocking, absence management, and holiday tracking. Issuing access fobs to new starters and temps, and daily management and administration of the system.
- Support the Payroll Admin with the new starter process, including right to work checks and starter forms.
- Assist the Payroll Assistant with agency hours and invoice process by providing reports.
- Manage and book internal and external training for operational employees.
- Take ownership of the new starter induction process.
- Monitor the new starter probationary process.
- Manage the leaver process and conduct exit interviews.
- Monitor absence levels and provide recommendations to managers and the HRBP.
- Maintain tracking reports in coordination with Payroll and HR Officer/Advisor.
- Take ownership of the employee life-cycle processes.
- Manage the uniform process, including ordering and maintaining stocks.
- Order supplies and stationery for the depot.
- Support with facilitating and running internal HR training and inductions.
- Ensure right controls within UFS, operational software.
- Maintain depot notice boards.
- Work with line managers to deal with complaints and issues.
- Manage Return to Work (RTW) interviews in conjunction with line managers.
- Conduct training and skills audits, such as MHE checks.
- Maintain supplier records.
- Support recruitment activities, including creating job descriptions, job listings, and supporting with interviews.
- Produce letters and other correspondence as required.
- Provide advice regarding the interpretation of HR policies.
- Support with policy refreshes and amendments.
- Assist with engagement activities and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for the engagement survey process.
- Support low-level employee relations matters.
- Contribute to HR projects and objectives.
- Support with Occupational Health referrals.
- Identify opportunities to improve people administrative processes.
- Manage the paperless filing system.
- Produce HR statistics and raw data to provide to the HRBP
- Support with the coordination of apprenticeships.
- Undertake adhoc tasks as reasonably required.
**Personal Profile**:
- Essential HR experience.
- Possess a current, clean driving licence and have access to a car.
- Desirable CIPD level 3 or 5 qualification.
- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic, driven, and possess a can-do attitude.
- High level of organisational skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Competent PC user.
- Proactive and able to use initiative.
