We are looking for an immediately available or short-notice Operations Co-ordinator to join one of our fabulous engineering clients based in North-East Cambridgeshire on a temporary-permanent basis.
In your day-to-day duties, you will be directly responsible to the Head of Operations whilst dealing with all queries relating to operations, as well as ensuring general smooth running of the business. You will be working closely with engineers, other managersand clients to ensure customer satisfaction whilst communicating directly with customers and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status requirements.
Your day-to-day duties may include:

- Scheduling and directing engineers
- Communicating with various departments to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and training requirements
- Reporting on project information, estimated time to complete jobs, labour hours and parts/materials used
- Maintaining communication with suppliers and representatives to ensure the best buying prices are obtained
- Reviewing work orders, purchase invoices and time reports for accuracy
- Invoicing clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Attending divisional meetings and reporting back any operational issues
- Ordering parts/materials in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain an efficient Operations department
