Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Governance Administration Co-ordinator for a prestige organisation based in central Cambridge. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations you will serve as a pivotal administrative figure within the Department and co-ordinating activity of key decision makers and ensuring long and short term priorities are delivered. My Client offers a dynamic platform for governance professionals like yourself to make a tangible impact, where each decision shapes not only the physical landscape but also the ethos of excellence and innovation going forward.

Responsibilities include:

  • To administer and facilitate the activities of Senior Teams chaired or overseen by the Head of Operations
  • To provide support for the meetings where the Head of Operations is a member, including Council;
  • To develop, draft, revise and deliver policies across the breadth Head of Operations responsibilities;
  • To manage budgets allocated to the Head of Operations responsibilities;
  • To implement and manage risk mitigation strategies

Skills required:

  • The successful candidate must have exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have Board level secretariat experience, preferably within an academic or institutional setting and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of line management and managing risks and budgets is also essential.
  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/other relevant software applications is highly desirable.

Salary: £50,000 per annum, plus additional benefits
