Job Summary:
The role is 25 hours per week, and flexibility on days/hours will be considered.

**Responsibilities**:
Co-ordinate the purchase process from receiving the invoices, requesting relevant authorisation to proposing the payment run.

Reconcile with vendor statements to ensure AP ledger is kept up to date.

Ensure that any correcting journals required are made in a timely manner to ensure purchase ledger is accurate and up to date.

Propose and process the twice monthly payment run

Support the production of the monthly cashflow forecast.

Communicate payment remittance advice to relevant stakeholders for payment runs.

Administer expenses including credit cards/cash expenses.

Process warranty, contract support claims, rebate, and promotional discount invoices to payments.

Keep a log of missing invoices for month end.

Deal with any purchase ledger queries as they arise such as payment queries and statement reconciliations.

Supporting company compliance with relevant tax regulations including support with VAT returns.

Assist with audits and year end activities.

Reconcile credit card sales receipt to outstanding customer invoices.

Annual leave and sickness cover for Account receivables including bank reconciliation, answering account receivable queries and sending customer statements.

Achieve individual, team and Company Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Financial Controller.

**Experience**:
Required Accounts payable experience.

Required Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)

Preferable full or part qualified AAT level 3 - or qualified by experience.

Preferred VAT return compilation and submission experience

Preferred MS Dynamics experience

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Effective communication skills. (Written and telephone manner)

Excellent relationship building skills (Internal and External)

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
