**Account Manager - Software**
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Account Manager to their software division.
The role of an Account Manager is focused on winning new clients while retaining them, selling products and services that the business deals with. The key to success in this role is through building up strong relationships with clients while ensuring thathigh quality services are carried out throughout the entire process.
The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and based on a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.
**Account Manager Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and exceptional customer service and providing advice and guidance on relevant software solutions and processes.
- Present recommendations for new solutions and services aligned to the needs of the customer.
- Attend scheduled meetings with other members of the team, including Line Managers, to discuss potential pipeline and ongoing activity.
- Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of products, services, and technological developments to be able to advise customers.
- Communication with internal stakeholders to assist in scoping and delivering of suggested solutions and opportunities.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets including the renewal and retention of existing contracts.
**Account Manager Requirements**
- Preferable experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Can demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, internally and externally.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trusted position.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Software or sales experience preferable but not essential.
