**Job overview**:
We are looking for an experienced; Band 3 Administrator for maternity leave cover for 18.75 hours per week, to join the team supporting Children's Community Therapy Services. The job will be based at Chelmsley Wood Primary Care Centre B37 5BU and free staff car parking is available.

Solihull Children's Community Therapy Service is part of University Hospitals Birmingham. This is a temporary post, based in Solihull Community.

You will provide admin support alongside other administrators for 4 children's services which include the Specialist Assessment Service, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.

We can offer flexibility in how the hours are distributed over the week, we are however looking for cover for Fridays in the office.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:

- A professional and friendly manner and the ability to liaise with parents, professionals on the telephone.
- Ability to work well within a team but also able to work on own and be able to prioritise and organise own workload.
- A flexible approach to working and ability to multi task.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work calmly and confidently under pressure.
- Ability to handle and deal appropriately with confidential information.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring production of accurate written/typed work or entry of patient information.

**Essential**:
Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4

Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

**Experience**:
**Essential**:
Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience

Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)

Experience of using IT systems

Experience of working in a busy environment

**Desirable**:
Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
