Health and Social Care Apprentice

**Purely Care** are recruiting Health & Social Care Apprentices.
As a Health and Social Care Apprentice you will start with learning how to deliver direct care in the community, and then will develop skills in care co-ordination and the administration involved in care.
The health and Social Care Apprentice role is an employed apprenticeship on a 30 hour per week contract, working at times to be arranged between the hours of 7am and 10:30pm, working 4 days on and 4 days off continuous rota.
Weekend and unsocial hours working is required. Hours will be built up over time as you complete training and gain confidence.
We provide care for disabled and elderly people in their own homes in Norwich. Direct care duties include washing, dressing, help with toileting, meal preparation, shopping and light domestic duties. Most of our work is short visits of 30 minutes or an hour, and then you move on to the next client.
**You need to be able to drive, have your own transport and live in Norwich.** (Kickstart may be able to help with a scooter - see their website).

You must have a good standard of literacy (GCSE level C or above) and be computer literate. You should preferably have some experience of working with elderly or disabled people and have a genuine interest in doing care work.
Due to the nature of the work applicants should be aged 17 or over.
