We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our Paid Marketing Team. Reporting into the Senior Paid Manager, the Paid Media Specialist will accelerate our growing paid media executions across mid and lower funnel activations.
We’re looking for a Display and Video Specialist with a proven track record of setting up and scaling activity in an dynamic in-house or agency environment. This role will take ownership of the execution, optimisation and reporting across Display and Video channels while contributing into overarching strategy. The focus will be on Google Display ads and YouTube; with other paid video channels like TikTok and Meta also falling into this role.
We are also looking for a team player who loves collaborating cross-functionally as this role is in the centre of things and will work closely and holistically with various teams within Depop such as Marketing, Insights, Creative and MarTech.
**Responsibilities**:
- Focus primarily on Display and Video executions and optimisations in conjunction with wider marketing teams to ensure we hit our collective targets.
- Ownership on driving and developing our testing plan across Display to best deliver against an ROI objective.
- Ownership on executing, optimising and reporting upper funnel video campaigns to best deliver against reach and impression objectives.
- Assist on driving forward and scaling of mid funnel video activations across a mix of media partners to deliver against a range of KPIs.
- Maintain and improve relationships with key media partners, by being one of the contacts and attending weekly calls
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across key projects such as campaign and creative performance and the building of measurement and testing frameworks.
- Data exploration in order to further develop activity and troubleshoot any problems.
- Working closely with our in-house Insights team and data visualisation tools, take ownership of Display and Video reporting and develop it to business requirements.
- Identify and communicate insights cross-functionally to all levels of seniority.
**Qualifications**
- Experience working in Display and Video.
- Strong knowledge of Display and Video platforms.
- Media buying experience (either agency or in-house) with a focus on Google ads, TikTok and Meta.
- Analytical capabilities and Google Sheet / Excel literate with the ability to use data to answer business questions.
- Proactive and eager to learn attitude, with the capacity for independent thinking.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good attention to detail to ensure excellent implementation and execution of all campaigns.
**Big plus**:
- Previous experience on App first business with MMP knowledge
- Experience in boosting owned and 3rd party content across video platforms
- Experience in implementing brand new strategies and scaling them to business goals
- Experience in an marketplace or e-commerce model
- Experience across multiple performance marketing channels outside of Display and Video.
