We are looking for a band 3 Administrator to work within the Children's Community Nursing Team in Oldham.

We provide assessment, support and nursing care to children and young people, in the Oldham area, from the ages of 0 to 19 years.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual with a passion to help provide administrative support to the team.

You will be located at the Integrated Care Centre, Oldham and will work 4 days a week over a 7 day period, rostered onto the duty rota, including weekends

**Main duties of the job**:

- Provide comprehensive, confidential secretarial/administrative service to the Children’s Community Nursing Team.
- Support the service to maintain children’s community health records in line with record keeping policies and guidance.
- Compile and maintain Staffing files in line with record keeping policy where identified
- Confidently use a computer to competently navigate service systems such as Paris, SMART, e-procurement and System 1 (electronic patient record)
- Follow admin processes to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Support the assistant practitioners with keeping a record of all the equipment used within the service and in liaison with EBME ensure this equipment is routinely brought into the office for service and repair ensuring accurate

records are kept as to the location of the equipment.
- Order stock items on a weekly basis using NHS Supply Chain and the E-Procurement system
- Maintain a safe and organised equipment storage system
- Undertake general administrative duties such as typing, filing correspondence and photocopy and scan as required
- Receive and make telephone calls.
- Take and relay messages and supply information where necessary to parents, colleagues and other professionals
- Provide cover for the other administrators across children’s community services where needed during times of leave/absence or workload pressures as requested by the service lead(s).
