**The Role**

We are looking to recruit a Assistant Patient Pathway Tracker to join our Cancer Services Team at University Hospital Monklands

The Assistant Patient Pathway Tracker will provide assistance to the Patient Pathway Tracking team, in the delivery of administrative support for patient access. They will work to ensure the MDT is supported by the provision of accurate information, which supports the timely and planned movement of cancer and suspected cancer patients through their journey from referral onwards.

The Assistant Patient Pathway Tracker will support and assist in the co-ordination and monitoring of investigation and treatment journey for urgent patients, as well as highlighting delays and present for resolution to enable the patients to receive treatment in line with national targets.

Fixed-term or Secondment (12 months) / Full time / 37.5 hours / Band 3

**What we'll need you to bring**
- HNC Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proficient in use of Software systems
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Excellent Organisational and communication skills
- Track record of ability to prioritise and problem solve.

**It would be great if you also have**:

- NHS Experience
- General secretarial background
- Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
- Knowledge of Cancer Waiting Times
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word for Windows), Trakcare and Winscribe system
- Audio typing skills
- Car driver with valid driving licence
