**The Role**:
The Assistant Patient Pathway Tracker will provide assistance to the Patient Pathway Tracking team in the delivery of administrative support for patient access. You will work to ensure the MDT is supported by the provision of accurate information which supports the timely and planned movement of cancer and suspected cancer patients through their journey from referral onwards. The post holder will support and assist in the co-ordination and monitoring of investigation and treatment journey for urgent patients and will highlight delays and present for resolution to enable the patients to receive treatment in line with national targets.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- HNC Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proficient in use of Software systems
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Excellent Organisational and communication skills
- Track record of ability to prioritise and problem solve.
- The ability to travel across NHS Lanarkshire

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
- Car driver with valid driving licence

**Contract type**:
Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Cancer Services within University Hospital Monklands

The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday with flexibility within.
