The Role
Urgent temporary start for an experienced Receptionist
Nigel Wright are delighted to be assisting their client in South Shields with their search for an experienced receptionist to cover a period of sickness. The role will be for at least 3 months.
**Duties**:
- Staff Reception desk during ‘daytime’ hours (0800 - 1600, with lunch break), the main duties of which are access control, overseeing visitors signing in and supporting the visitors in the training rooms.
- Manage bookings for all conference rooms
- Liaise with our Buildings & Facilities team to ensure any issues with the building are swiftly resolved
- A strong knowledge of technology to ensure that the IT provision in our classrooms is adequately supported and any issues swiftly resolved
- Liaise with our Security partners to ensure a smooth transition to overnight duties, and to resolve any security issues
- Create and maintain a guide to our facilities to enable internal and external teams to maximise the impact of their use of the centre.
- Liaise directly with customers to co-ordinate room layouts, refreshments etc
- Supporting on administrative tasks
- Organise furniture in conference rooms to support events and training with optimal set-ups.
