A new professional association based in Heywood, Greater Manchester is looking for a new staff member to join the growing team. If you’re someone with enthusiasm and looking for an opportunity to get into a new role and make it your own, we’d like to meet and talk to you.

The House of PMO is a membership organisation focussed on people working in project management - specifically PMOs.

This role will include some business administration, event planning along with managing and maintaining relationships with individual and corporate members so if you have any experience in office administration, customer service/relations or event planning we’d love to hear from you.

It’s a busy, growing business where you’ll be supported in your work; given responsibility; have the opportunity to influence and help to make a real difference.

It’s a small team (including Reggie, the dog) with big ambitious plans, so we’re open to meeting and understanding what your skills are today, what you’re looking for and how we can utilise that in our business.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a PC especially Microsoft Excel, has a great attitude to work; up for learning lots and doesn’t mind a dog wandering around the place.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Maintaining the membership database (CRM)
- Managing new memberships and renewals
- Dealing with queries
- Assisting in events planning and representing the organisation at trade shows
- Creation and maintenance of administration and quality processes and procedures
- Working closely with the marketing team on member campaigns

**Qualifications and Skills**

ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of 2 good ‘A’ levels or equivalent qualifications with experience
- Confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people from senior management to customers and suppliers.
- Ability to accurately transcribe messages and record information over the phone or in person
- IT confidence and proficiency, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good planning and organisational skills, self-motivated and able to work without detailed supervision
- Well organised and able to establish and maintain processes and procedures
- Dog friendly (we have an office dog)

PREFERRED
- Office experience
- Degree or equivalent
- Web page maintenance
- Ability to use scheduling tools and workflow programs, including Outlook, Zoom, Trello and others.
