To actively work with HEIs in curriculum development, lead on and advise the Trust on NMC, changes within education. Oversee placement allocation, capacity and quality through effective management of the placement team, taking action to improve where necessary. Lead on quality assurance, monitoring clinical placement areas and ensuring clinical education audits are in place for each clinical area, working closely with all HEIs to deliver this. To lead the development of healthcare students placements, working in partnership with Health Education and relevant HEIs Lead the recruitment for the Nursing Associate and Nurse Degree programmes.

To ensure assessors and supervisors of pre-registration learners abide by NMC/HPC professionals standards of education and provide assurance that clinical placements across the organisation complies with contractual agreements. To operate the processes and performance in relation to: Pre-registration Nursing allocation, database monitoring and compliance Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (RNDA) placement capacity, allocation, compliance Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) placement capacity, allocation and compliance To ensure placements are of high quality and to work actively with placement providers. Visiting placements regularly to support educators and placement leads. To ensure compliance with the CQC outcomes in education and training provided for clinical staff Manage the Supervisor/Assessor register for the organisation.

Provide pastoral support to learners, supervisors and assessors and where necessary liaise with HEIs.
