Accounts Administrative Assistant - Part-time 24hrs per week.

Annual Salary £23K Pro Rata

The role will assist the Accounts Officer with all aspects of accounts across the three Cyrrus companies. It is a flexible role and would also be required to support other office administration tasks as well as some Reception duties.

To provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate deadlines are adhered too.

Although not considered as an essential prerequisite, the role would suit an individual with an interest in or experience of aviation.

**Competency Skills**
- Assisting with the preparation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities;
- Input to sales and purchase ledger;
- Check and report on invoice status and generate customer invoices;
- Hasten customer payments in accordance with Cyrrus payment T&Cs;
- Raise and track purchase orders;
- Check and report on supplier invoice status;
- Gather all necessary paperwork and process all expenses payments (cash and credit card);
- Finance data backup;
- Finance documentation filing and/or recording;
- Assist the Financial Officer with Company yearend tasks;
- Assist in the annual budget process;
- Answering telephone calls and directing calls to the appropriate person;
- Undertake any other duty/activity and reasonable requests from your line manager that you are deemed to have the necessary skills to complete.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines;
- Commitment to Customer Care;
- Communication and presentation skills (written and oral);
- Ability to develop solutions as well as identify problems;
- Local Computing Skills (Software)
- Microsoft 365 Package and Sage 50;
- Ability to work on own Initiative without close supervision;
- Ability to analyse documents and define action plans to resolve the issues working with Accounts Officer and other key staff within Cyrrus;
- Be able to multi-task effectively;
- Possess knowledge of both Accounts Payable and Receivable;
- Possess knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures;
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of office administration and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Preparation of Sales, Purchase Ledgers and journals within an accounting system;
- Regular monitoring of customer accounts such as payments, queries and details;
- Dealing with day to day office duties within a busy fast-paced environment;
- Controlling credit and chasing debt;
- Reconciling various financial accounts;
- Understanding of SAGE package (desirable but not essential);
- Capability to use Microsoft 365 package (good knowledge of excel required).
- AAT accounting qualification at foundation intermediate level, or other recognised accounting qualifications, desirable but not essential.

- Ability to manage own workload and deliver on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously;

- Able to work outside of the UK;

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £23,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:
