**Accounts Assistant with experience in Practice - UK Based Hybrid role, will be more office based initially but moving towards 3 days per week working from home.**
**On occasion travel to clients will be required.**
**Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm (can be flexible)**
**SALARY: £30,000 FTE**
This is an exciting hybrid position, we are a flexible business who are not looking for employees to be tied to their desk.
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Practice to become part of a busy, client focused team.
**About Calculated**
The Calculated team are accountants, tax advisors, mortgage brokers and business administrators whose primary goal is to provide our clients with dedicated and accessible expertise in property financing and tax management, ensuring they reach their goals and maximise their return.
Calculated Ltd is the Accounts and Tax arm of the Calculated Group of Companies.
The majority of our clients are property investors so there is a large focus on this type of client.
However, this role we have available will be focused on a servicing the other arm of our accountancy business which has a more varied client base with their businesses spread across many different sectors.
**About you**
You must have worked in an Accounts Practice, dealing with multiple clients for a minimum of 3 years. You will need to be highly organised and self-motivated. You will need to have strong IT skills and be able to embrace the latest cloud-based technology in all of your working practices.
- Duties would include:
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Personal and Corporation tax returns, VAT returns
- Client meetings (on site, teams or zoom)
- Ability to focus on work remotely (IT equipment and training will be provided)
You will need the following skills and experience:
- Natural relationship builder with both clients and colleagues.
- ACCA, AAT or equivalent
- 3+ Years experience, preferrably gained in an Accounts practice.
- Experience in preparing Limited company accounts essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills and ability to learn new software packages. Experience in Xero & Taxcalc would be beneficial.

We would consider full or part-time hours. You must be based in the UK.
