We are currently recruiting for an inspiring HR Advisor.

An exciting opportunity to join a multi CIPD award winning team, looking after approximately 650 staff over seven sites in the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors.

**Job Title**: Human Resources Advisor

**Location**:Macklin Group Head Office, 26 Wellington Park, Belfast

**Reports to**:Group HR Manager

**Travel**: As required dependent on business needs

**About The Role**

**The Person**

**Essential Criteria**
- Educated to third level, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role OR
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in a generalist HR role
- Proven track record in a fast paced and challenging HR environment
- Hands on experience of employee relations matters and current employment legislation
- Experience of the development and implementation of best practice and HR initiatives with clear business focus
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Possess a current driving licence and the use of a vehicle for business use or have access to a form of transport that will permit them to meet the requirements of the post

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience gained within the hospitality/care sector
- Completed/working towards CIPD qualification
- Experience of International recruitment
- Experience of Fair Employment Monitoring and Article 55 Review completion and submission

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- To establish and build effective relationships with staff and Management at all levels
- Provide professional advice and guidance to Management relating to HR issues
- To be fully conversant with employment law, and to provide advice and guidance to Management
- Providing generalist HR support to all sites
- Providing end to end recruitment support for all Macklin Group sites
- Ensure compliance with Home Office requirements, retaining records and ensuring changes / amendments are made and updated as required on the sponsorship management system.
- Assisting with relocation of International staff
- Contributing to the delivery of Induction and Onboarding across the group
- Supporting operational management with monitoring and delivery of the absence management procedures
- Management of HR related administration, including site audits
- Production of relevant HR reports on a regular and timely basis
- Assisting with the provision of information to the Equality Commission (e.g. annual monitoring return & Article 55 review)
- Assisting with provision of information for tribunal as and when required
- Reviewing policies and procedures in conjunction with the Head of Human Resources and People Development
- Conduct external benchmarking and research to benefit The Macklin Group
- To be proactive in researching and developing innovative HR initiatives
- Be a Brand ambassador & promote the employer brand in all communications at all events.
- To perform related duties and specific projects as assigned by Senior Management to contribute to the overall aims of The Macklin Group

**Required Criteria**
