We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Arriva team based in either York or Crewe as an Engagement Projects Coordinator. Working across Arriva TrainCare and Grand Central you will drive and facilitate a culture of engagement and collaboration.

Arriva TrainCare is a rapidly growing train maintenance company employing over 300 people. Grand Central is an open access train operator linking the North East and West Yorkshire with London.

**The Role - Engagement Projects Coordinator**

Reporting to the Engagement and Development Partner, as the Engagement Projects Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in nurturing internal relationships, fostering teamwork, and ensuring that our employees feel connected, motivated, and aligned with the business’ core values.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all engagement projects and initiatives that promote a sense of belonging, pride and enthusiasm among our teams that drives both productivity and engagement.

Some specific duties will include, although may not be limited to:

- Supporting the Engagement and Development Partner in the production and delivery of the annual engagement strategy
- Coordinating and leading on projects from concept to creation to fulfil the engagement strategy or activity
- Driving promotion and completion of the employee survey by ensuring regular communications, and liaising with line managers based on tracking data
- Creating engagement content for internal communication platforms and working closely with the internal communications coordinator to ensure streamlined communications
- Ensuring visibility across both businesses by regularly travelling to locations and engaging with colleagues at all levels to ensure the engagement strategy and initiatives are fit for purpose

**Our Requirements - Engagement Projects Coordinator**
- Business Administration Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Either a project management qualification or some relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse workload, prioritise tasks, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and commitment to meeting goals
- Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work independently, and seek out answers and/or resources on own initiative
- Committed to continuous personal development

Although not essential, the following experiences are desirable; working within a HR function; working knowledge of the Rail and Engineering industries and/or working within a unionised environment.
