**Due to our continued success within Lily Residential Services, we are opening a new home in Weymouth. We are looking for 1 new 35 hour Residential Childcare Worker.** As a Residential Childcare Worker you will nurture and support the children and young people (aged between 9 - 17 years old). You will be supporting them with all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. No two days are the same working in Residential Care for Children. We offer a comprehensive induction and training program & Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare training available and funded for all.

**We support our children 356 days a year, 24 hours a day. Therefore this position includes**:

- 35 hour contract.
- Shift work.
- Weekend working (2 in 3).
- Sleep-in shifts (3 week rolling rota, 6 sleep-ins over a 3 week period).
- 12 shifts (including sleep-ins) per 3 week period, with 9 days off.

**About you**:
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a children’s home setting, and holds, or is working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. However, if you don’t have the experience or qualifications yet, but are interested in a profession in childcare and want to enhance the lives of children, we would love to hear from you.
