The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the development, delivery, coordination and conduct of current Research & Innovation within the Trust.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post-holder will need to be a registered health professional with an interest in research & Innovation and will be required to liaise with the Head of Research & Innovation, Trial Chief Investigators (CI), study co-ordination teams, clinicians, leaders and staff within the Trust. They will also be required to liaise with other healthcare professionals external to the Trust to gain the required data for studies.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 2 years due to funding.

They will help align and strengthen the approach to research and innovation development and delivery in WAST and across the health and care system.

The role will give the post-holder an opportunity to gain experience in research, innovation and clinical data management, together with a range of leadership skills. These skills may be used on other Trials and studies within the Trust.
