This is an opportunity to join a team with the platform to drive financial performance and, ultimately, shareholder return for Swiss Re. We are recruiting a Performance Management Associate to join our iptiQ Performance Management team within Swiss Re's Global Clients & Solutions business. The role will require you to translate existing insurance industry experience and commercial insights into unpicking the key drivers of iptiQ's financial performance and communicating this to senior stakeholders to aid iptiQ in achieving our ambitions. Your direct reporting line will be to the Head of Performance Management, iptiQ within the Global FP&A function.

**About the Team**:
The role sits within a key team in iptiQ FP&A with a mandate to help steer iptiQ towards publicly communicated financial goals. The team is responsible for delivery of insightful analysis to iptiQ and Swiss Re senior management in order to inform real-world business decisions.

**About the Role**:
**As part of this role, you will**:

- Provide key business insights for senior iptiQ and Swiss Re management in all aspects of iptiQ's financial performance to focus decision making and drive future performance
- Pro-actively seek to analyze issues, identify the root causes and possible solutions to enable continued improvement
- Clearly articulate how to remedy and track resolution of identified issues
- Be responsible for aggregating, preparing, and presenting the Performance Management mandate to iptiQ, and Swiss Re, management (incl. CEO, CFO, CRO and others)
- Develop financial modelling to challenge, assess and project strategic impacts and the outcome on iptiQ's financial performance

**About You**:
**Essentials**:

- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field with an understanding / past exposure to accounting principles including IFRS 17
- Solid grounding and understanding of the insurance sector (primary or re/insurance) required
- Experience in financial modelling and the requisite Excel skills

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with coding (language agnostic) preferred but not essential, willingness to learn is required
