Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Ideally with experience in a care or healthcare setting, as an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our CQC registered services. Your excellent phone etiquette, computer skills, and organizational abilities will be essential in supporting our daily administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receptionist duties - answering & directing calls, meeting & greeting visitors
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Type and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, taking minutes
- Assist with invoicing and financial procedures including purchasing & petty cash systems
- Utilize Microsoft Office to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Provide administrative support to various departments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, ideally within a care/healthcare setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, document preparation, file management
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work well under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
