**The Role**:
We are looking for a Specialist Trainer to lead and co-ordinate a business wide programme of structured learning to ensure staff are trained to meet learning disability and autism mandatory training requirements. You’ll be working 40 hours per week, based from our Birmingham central office, with travel required across either the North, Midlands or South Region

In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential.

**Your day-to-day...**
- Delivering training to relevant staff that meets Tier 2 of the Core Capabilities mandatory training requirements.
- Assessing skills and knowledge relevant to course content
- Providing feedback to staff and service managers on outcomes and providing additional support as needed
- Providing accurate course reports and assessments of course outcomes to the wider business
- Co-designing, co-producing and co-evaluating a range of training materials and workshops to meet the Tier 2 of the Core Capabilities training requirements
- Working closely with the wider learning and development team to organise and plan the delivery of courses
- Using a range of teaching methods to deliver courses, encouraging participation and development of skills and knowledge
- Collating and accurately updating training records

**About you...**
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Potentially with ‘lived experience’ of autism and/or learning disability
- Relevant experience in a training/teaching environment
- General knowledge of training and development ideally within the health or social care sectors
- A full driving licence and access to own vehicle
