An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced secretary/administrator to join us within the Newport East Adult Community Mental Health Services at Goldtops, as Medical Secretary to the Newport East Consultant Psychiatrist.

The post holder must have secretarial experience, will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work. The post holder must be able to work on their own initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills. The post holder will require audio-typing skills as well as experience of diary planning and management. The post holder will work closely with a Consultant Psychiatrist and will also provide administrative support to the wider team as an when required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post holder must have secretarial experience, will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work. Knowledge of ABUHB databases and IT systems is desirable.
