Head of Sales

up to 70K + Bonus + car

**The Company**
Joining the senior management team at this well established manufacturer with modern facilities in the heart of the West Midlands. Our client is creating a new top tier to take the company into the next stage of their journey. A successful SME with a long history and traditional values, designing and producing bespoke products. The customer journey is of the essence and at the very heart of the business strategy.

**What is the purpose of the Head of Sales role?**
To maximise revenue streams and realise our clients sales team potential, working with the SMT to create and deliver sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with the overall business plan for the company.

**What will be the responsibilities of the Head of Sales?**
- Define and implement KPI's and targets for the sales team and the SMT, in conjunction with market trends and consumer behaviours, supporting and developing strategies to enhance all revenue streams
- Ensure our client meets customer needs and maintain their high level of customer service offering, whilst also looking to develop additional sales or further opportunities with new or existing customers and maximising the company's approach to innovation and design.
- Accountable and responsible for overseeing the sales of a portfolio of key customer accounts with a wide variety of requirements, needs and budgets..
- Work with design and estimator teams to work on overall business strategy

**What skills and qualifications will the Head of Sales have?**
- A proven track record of leading a sales function at a senior level
- The ability to work under pressure and demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm and the flexibility expected to fulfil this role
- A keen eye for data enabling you to create sales plans and monitor results
- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate your team to deliver results
- Experience of working with packaging or timber would be an advantage
