We are currently seeking an Associate Director, Hotels Research, Europe to join our growing Hotels platform. Preferred working locations: The Netherlands or United Kingdom, but this can be discussed._

**What are you going to do?**
- Work in concert with the Heads of Research (Europe), Hotels Research (Global) and Hotel Capital Markets (Europe) to formulate standards and strategies for hotels research across Europe;
- In consultation with key stakeholders, determine how best to organize and utilize existing CBRE hotel-industry data and propose suggestions for the collection and aggregation of future data so as to optimize utility for research purposes;Closely follow and analyze the latest data and identify future trends in this sector;
- Conceptualize and bring to fruition timely, quality, periodical thought leadership, in-depth research and bespoke quantitative analyses for internal stakeholders and external clients;
- Create and maintain in-house property and KPI databases ensuring consistency, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of data on a timely basis;
- Work closely with the Hotels team and other related business lines to provide research and pitch support, including via property and market data and customized research materials and reports;
- Collaborate closely with global, regional, and local research teams on joint projects;
- Other duties as may be assigned.

**What do you have to offer us?**
- You have at least 5 years of research experience, preferably within the real estate and, ideally, the hospitality sector;
- You have comparative experience from outside of the hospitality sector also valued (when in addition to hospitality-sector experience);
- You have a sound business and real estate knowledge. Strong statistical and analytical skills;
- You are capable of presenting and communicating ideas and views clearly in English both verbally and in writing on tight deadlines;
- You have experience and are comfort working in collaboratively across time zones and languages;
- You have proficiency in MS Excel, PPT and Word. GIS will be a plus;
- You are highly organized and have rigorous attention to detail;
- You have the ability to multi-task, work/succeed under pressure, and prioritize and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines;
- You are positive, enquiring and have a collaborative attitude;
- You are motivated and self-starting.

The Research department consists of 12 young driven researchers. In the team we work together with colleagues from other departments and clients of CBRE. The team works hard and enthusiastically, but fun, a good atmosphere and personal development are high on the agenda.
