Receptionist / Administrator

**JOB PURPOSE**
Ensures proper flow of office procedures and supports the company by carrying out common office duties. Maintains a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
This is a full time role, Monday - Friday based in our office in East Kilbride.
**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
The position will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal customers and external customers / Organisations.
As a Receptionist / Administrator you will be expected to turn your hand to jobs such as:
- Sorting out the post
- Answering the phones, taking messages and passing to the relevant person
- Booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments if required
- Greeting clients
- Typing
- Filing
Other ad hoc duties pertinent to the role to support functional departments
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to work across various departments and colleagues of all levels
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong prioritisation and organisation skills
- Record keeping skills, presentation skills including welcoming guests
- Ability to multitask.
- Courteous and polite manner towards clients, customers and colleagues
- Highly self motivated and ability to use initiative, when necessary
- Have a methodical approach to work
- Work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- An interest in own personal development
- To undertake training as required.
