We are a small Accountancy practice just on the outskirts of Leeds city centre. We are a professional practice yet very down to earth.
**Job description**
**Duties**
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of VAT, payroll, accounts preparation and general management of the practice. The applicant will be working within a small team predominantly undertaking payroll duties including RTI submission for existing clients as well as preparing and submitting VAT returns.
They should also have good communication skills and be able to liaise with clients to obtain the required information and resolve queries where necessary.
**Requirements**:
They will also ideally have accounts experience, excellent communication skills, positive and reassuring manner with clients, excellent organisational skills, and an enthusiastic attitude towards work.
You will ideally have a solid background in payroll, VAT, and other general accountancy practice service responsibilities.
Good problem solver with attention to detail.
Ability to work using own initiative with little supervision, showing good organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Technical approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills.
Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure.
Organisation skills - ability to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously.
Strong time management skills, with ability to plan and prioritise work.
