A temporary full-time office-based position is available in Blackley for a 3-month assignment as a Payroll and Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and processing the payroll for all staff.
  • Updating employee salary, benefit, and personal details in the payroll system.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports to senior staff and external bodies.
  • Working closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions are in accordance with financial regulations.
  • Responding to payroll and finance-related queries from staff.
  • Supporting with other finance tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in running weekly/monthly payroll and some finance/accounts experience. They should also be able to consider an immediate start temporary role and commute to the Blackley office, which offers free parking.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
