**Job Title**: IT Support Technician (1st and 2nd Line Support)

**Location**:Horsham, West Sussex

**Salary**:£21,000-£25,000 per annum, based on experience

**Full Time**

**Responsibilities**
- Helping staff resolve 1st and 2nd line technical issues and escalating if unable to resolve.
- Configuring PCs (desktop / laptop) and printers for both office based and remote staff.
- Logging and tracking of IT support issues.
- Updating and maintenance of IT documentation.
- Assist with maintaining the IT network / infrastructure at within the office.
- 3rd level support for maintaining the in-house infrastructure.
- Assist with new product evaluation and implementation.

**Essential Experience**
- Minimum 18 moths experience in a similar, relevant role.
- MS Office 365 apps (Excel, Word, Outlook etc).
- Windows 10.
- Software, firmware, and driver installation (including OS).
- Printer setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Endpoint anti-virus and security software.

**Desirable Skills / Knowledge**
- Windows Server - 2012 / 2016 / 2019.
- Active Directory.
- Group Policy Management.
- Virtualisation - Hyper-V.
- Computer Networking - IP configuration / DHCP / DNS / VPN.
- Network & Infrastructure including Firewalls, Switches and Patching.
- Project work - as a resource rather than manager.
- Smartphones - Apple & Android.
- Office 365 online environment (including Azure, Exchange, Intune etc).

**Desirable Qualities**
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team; however, even more importantly is the willingness to adopt a flexible approach to the work undertaken.
- Demonstrate commitment by regular attendance and efficient completion of all tasks allocated.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with health and safety policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain high standards of personal accountability.
- Willingness to undertake training and progress personal development.
