Description
Join Securitas as an Apprentice Professional Security Operative Dive into security with structured work, top-notch training, and a fast track to success. Earn £11.64/hr, gain essential skills, and unlock career opportunities
**Duties**:
- Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the site.
- Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, as well as key control.
- Conducting external and internal security patrols.
- Maintaining all logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion, and conducting effective handover procedures.
- Delivering excellent customer service when dealing with stakeholders.
- Handling various emergency situations, including report writing and communicating with emergency services.
- Efficient reporting of loss, stolen, and/or vandalized equipment and/or property.
- Health & Safety Observation Checks.
- Ensuring the Safety of Employees and Customers.
- Handling Crisis and Emergency Situations
- Complying with carrying out other duties reasonably requested from the customer or line manager.
You will be working 4.5 days per week, totalling 54 hours per week (12 hour shifts)
Entry requirements
Maths and English GCSE's grade 4 or above. If you don't have this, you will need to sit this alongside your apprenticeship.
You will need to hold a drivers license for this position dute to site location.
18+ due to working hours
Training to be provided
Professional Security Officer (Level2) Apprenticeship Standard.
The apprenticeship is a 12 month remote apprenticeship. You will be required to attend monthly Microsoft Teams tutor led sessions alongside completing projects, an online portfolia and off the job hours within your working hours on site.
Securitas will provide on the job training alongside other mandtory courses needed to comply with your job and site rules.
