Position: Security Officer

Hours: Full-time, 42 hours weekly

Shift Patterns: 12-hour shifts, including Nights and Weekends

Transport: Must have access to a vehicle or reliable transport options

Requirements: Valid SIA license is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Your Duties will encompass:

  • Preventing and deterring unauthorized entry to the premises.
  • Monitoring fire alarms, security alarms, and CCTV systems as necessary.
  • Conducting both external and internal security patrols.
  • Managing keys and executing locking and unlocking responsibilities.
  • Maintaining accurate logbooks and records.
  • Reporting any faults, health and safety risks, and unsafe practices to management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of an SIA license
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the security sector
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history
  • Ability to arrive at the site punctually for shifts (reasonable commute)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in computer usage
