Position: Security Officer
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours weekly
Shift Patterns: 12-hour shifts, including Nights and Weekends
Transport: Must have access to a vehicle or reliable transport options
Requirements: Valid SIA license is mandatory
Key ResponsibilitiesYour Duties will encompass:
- Preventing and deterring unauthorized entry to the premises.
- Monitoring fire alarms, security alarms, and CCTV systems as necessary.
- Conducting both external and internal security patrols.
- Managing keys and executing locking and unlocking responsibilities.
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and records.
- Reporting any faults, health and safety risks, and unsafe practices to management.
- Possession of an SIA license
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the security sector
- Eligibility to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history
- Ability to arrive at the site punctually for shifts (reasonable commute)
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in computer usage
