Security Guard

**Job Introduction**

IMMEDIATE START

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join Vinovium Associates Ltd team. As a Security Officer you will be responsible for securing our customers Premises.
You would be conducting foot Patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

We are on the look out for a Security Guard to cover a site based at Tindale Crescent Bishop Auckland. Your main duties will be to open the site up on a morning for 2.5 hours and lock the site down in the evening for 2.5 hours. There are some cleaning duties including emptying some bins and brushing round.**Hours**

5 hours per day, 6 days a week, 30 hours per week. Monday - Saturday

**Role Responsibility**
- To be an ambassador for the company
- Present for work at the designated time
- Follow on site security requirements including internal and external patrols
- Report any security events in the on-site log
- Deal with emergency situations including initial alert and evacuations
- Support emergency services
- Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format
- Liaise with Vinovium's management regarding any security issues or problems

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
5 year checkable work history
Excellent communication including both written and verbal
Experience working in a customer service environment
SIA Door Supervisors Licence

Enthusiastic and flexible approach
Capable of working independently and as part of a team

**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

Vinovium Associates Limited was formed in March 1998 by Managing Director Jim Loughran a former police detective.

In 2002 the company was asked to tender for manned guarding work by various customers so the core of the business then changed to this type of work. This has been built upon over the years where the Company has enjoyed success and built up an enviable reputation in the manned guarding sector.

The Company has acquired a number of accreditation over the years most notably achieving the ISO 9001:2008 in March 2010 and achieving the ISO 9001:2015 in April 2018 and Approved Contractor Status with the Security Industry Authority in December 2010

The company has now consolidated itself in the area as a provider of quality Manned guards over various diverse sites from Castles to Cathedrals and Jewellery shops to factory sites.

Part-time hours: 30 per week
