Position: Security Officer

Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week

Shift Patterns: 12-hour shifts, including Nights and Weekends

Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent public transport options

Requirements: Valid SIA license is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass:

  • Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as necessary.
  • Conducting thorough external and internal security patrols.
  • Managing keys and executing locking and unlocking tasks.
  • Maintaining all logbooks and documentation accurately.
  • Reporting any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe practices to management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid SIA license.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the security field.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history.
  • Ability to arrive punctually for shifts (reasonable commute required).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
