Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working with a Leading Financial Service client in recruiting a Regulatory Reporting Manager. Reporting into the CFO you will you will be responsible for Regulatory Reporting across the group and support infinancial control activities for the regulated division, including providing oversight of financial control and Treasury activities performed by service departments.

**Main Duties**:

- Working closely with the CFO, Deputy CFO and Financial Controller on various projects and ad hoc work
- Assist in maintaining controls and governance activities for P&CB Financial Control including coordinate monthly meeting agendas and track and report on process control issues and remediation tasks to completion
- Perform and/or manage various ad-hoc projects and procedures as necessary
- Assist in setting policies and providing advice on regulatory reporting
- Lead and supervise staff of analysts
- Prepare annual Risk Adjusted Capital (RAC) plan
- Management of two direct reports, responsible for 1-2-1's, appraisals and daily management
- Ensure the business remains compliant with all reporting and regulatory reporting such as Solvency II
- Manage external relationships such as the FCA/PRA & production of the quarterly and annual regulatory returns
- You will also support business partners on accounting and related regulatory issues for the implementation of new products

**Desired Experience**:

- Influence and drive changes required to meet new Finance requirements in light of rapidly changing businesses, additional governance standards
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to synthesize work products into executive summaries and/or briefs and reports, process analysis, mapping & improvement experience
- Provide thought leadership and influence change
- Member of project team tasked with defining and ensuring implementation of stated objectives
- Knowledge of US business and regulatory environment with focus on IHC related requirements
- Strong Excel skills required - proficient with VBA (creating and editing macros which involve repetitive functions)
