We are looking for an experience individual as our head of exam centre.

The post holder will manage all arrangements for all public examination entries e.g. GCSE and equivalent and ensure that these are conducted in accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and examination board regulations. The post holder will manage all arrangements for internal examinations.

**As the head of centre your main responsibilities shall be to**:

- To liase with staff and students regarding exam entry deadlines
- Assist the Exams officers in processing exam entries for students, ensuring that deadlines for entries are met
- Working with Exam officers, Tutors, Internal quality assessors to pick up potential of malpractise and deal with any potential plagiarism in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the regulations and policies are followed at all times in line with the JCQ and awarding body requirements.
- To assist teaching staff in the interpretation of results, developing, modifying and enhancing report formats, content and design to meet the management needs of the school and to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

Education & Training
- A Minimum of A*-C at GCSE including English & Maths **Essential**:

- Level 3 or higher in Education or similar **Desirable**

**Experience and knowledge Essential**
- Can demonstrate relevant experience, how to effectively work with other departments and managing a team

**Motivation and Personality Essential**:

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
